Once you have seen or heard a miracle of what Jesus has done, it changes the way that you minister. You can never pray from lack again for any condition that you have read or heard about.

If we get impressed with a problem, we will begin to exalt it.

Miracles come out of rest. Resting in knowing who we are. It’s who we are that defines us, not what we do. If we allow what we do to define who we are, then we are heading for trouble. Miracles are not done for identity; they are because of our identity.

Christ is not the answer to your city, I am not the answer to your city. The answer to your city is Christ in you and Christ through you.

The film-festival crowd is a completely different animal. These people seek out movies at festivals . . . that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to see.

I like to say it's a love letter to independent film in the form of a fart joke.

We got a little tired and lost a couple we shouldn't have. Our freshmen really stepped up and played well, though, which was really encouraging to see.

We looked pretty good. But we need to work on our decision-making and reading our surroundings a little bit more before next weekend.
